Games can really help children learn a range of subjects. Through games a child may learn how to manage money, perfect spelling and gain a more complete understanding of math. In an article entitled "Games Help Home School Students Learn," Linda Pogue, M.S. recommends several games that are beneficial for students and home school students specifically.

Recomended Games:

Monopoly
Hangman
Yahtzee
Carmen Sandiego Games

  1. I recommend TimezAttack. You can find a free version by doing a Google search. TimezAttack teaches and reinforces multiplication skills in a fun format children love.

  2. Thanks for reminding me about that game. My kids loved playing it, but it had slipped my mind. I think I may need to download the entire game all levels. I think it gets harder with the other levels.

TimezAttack is free in its basic form. Great game!
